CEO of Torq Resources, Shawn Wallace, joins the show to discuss the exciting results from a recent drill program at their Santa Cecilia project. Shawn breaks down what these results mean for the company moving forward and also provides an update on the ongoing work at their Margarita project.

Torq Resources drilled 557 m of 0.38 g/t Gold, 0.23% Copper and 56 ppm Molybdenum at its Santa Cecilia project in Chile. The project is characterized by both gold epithermal and gold–copper porphyry styles of mineralization and demonstrates geological similarities to multi-million-ounce deposits in the region, such as La Coipa, Cerro Maricunga and the immediately adjacent Caspiche and Cerro Casale gold – copper porphyry deposits, held by Newmont and Barrick.

On July 19th, Torq announced rock sample results from the eastern part of the Santa Cecilia gold-copper project in Chile. These samples identified three defined porphyry targets and Shawn Wallace, and Michael Henrichsen discuss the potential the targets represent.
