Vancouver, British Columbia – August 30, 2016 – Stratton Resources Inc. (TSX-V: SI) “Stratton” or the “Company”), is pleased to announce that it has closed its previously announced private placement (see News Release dated August 12, 2016) for $7.0 million by issuing 20,000,000 common shares at a price of $0.35 per share (the “Placement”).
The Company intends to use the net proceeds for mineral property acquisitions and general corporate purposes.
The shares under the Offering will be subject to a four-month hold period and will not be registered in the United States. No commissions or brokerage fees were paid on the Placement.
